Worship at St. John's MCC

We hope you will take the time to visit St. John’s MCC and allow us get to know you better. We realize it may not be easy to walk into an unfamiliar environment and fellowship with people you do not know. We invite you to come and worship with us and be part of what God is doing here.

Sundays

Jubilation Service
Our Jubilation Worship begins at 9:00 am and runs approximately an hour. This service is best described as liturgical. During this service we sing hymns, have responsive readings, a sermon, and celebrate Communion weekly. The clergy wear simple vestments.

Fellowship Hour
Each week, the St. John’s MCC Coffee Shop opens in our foyer as a time of gathering and getting to know one another better. Many use this time to share prayer concerns and requests with others. When you see someone new, please be sure to greet them warmly. We know how difficult it can be to come into a new place.

Celebration Service
Our Celebration Worship starts at 11:00 am and is approximately 90 minutes to praise, pray and be blessed with a relevant message for our lives today. This service will be a blending of various musical styles including but not limited to gospel, traditional and contemporary. Music can truly set the tone for a service and help invite the Spirit into your heart. This service will include a time of healing and anointing as well as communion.

Wake up early, praise God with Jubilation, share God’s love during our Fellowship Hour, and then “get your praise on” in the Celebration Service. Please be welcome to join us for any and all of these worship opportunities.

Wednesdays

Wednesday Night Discussions is our mid-week worship opportunity. Though we use a basic structure that includes music, prayer, meditation, and communion, St. John’s offers this as refreshing and spiritually uplifting time for you, and participants control the conversation. This experience will start at 7:00 pm and should last no more than one hour.
