Worship at St. John's MCC

We hope you will take the time to visit St. John’s Metropolitan Community Church and allow us get to know you better. We realize it may not easy to be easy to walk into an unfamiliar environment and fellowship with people you do not know. We invite you to come and worship with us and be part of what God is doing here.

Jubilation Service
Our Jubilation Worship begins at 9:00 am and runs approximately an hour. This service is best described as liturgical. During this service we sing hymns, have responsive readings, a sermon, and celebrate Communion weekly. The clergy wear simple vestments.

Tool Time at Ten
Each week, Cindy Norton leads us in an unusual Bible Study experience that helps us find new tools for our spiritual journey. It lasts about one hour with lots of time for questions and open discussion.

Celebration Service
Our Celebration Worship starts at 11:00 am and is approximately 90 minutes to praise, pray and be blessed with a relevant message for our lives today. This service will be a blending of various musical styles including but not limited to gospel, traditional and contemporary. Music can truly set the tone for a service and help invite the Spirit into your heart. This service will include a time of healing and anointing as well as communion.

Wake up early, praise God with Jubilation, learn of God’s love with Tool Time at Ten, and then “get your praise on” in the Celebration Service. Please be welcome to join us for any and all of these worship opportunities.

The Potter’s Hour: A Work in Progress is our mid-week worship opportunity. Though the service will have a basic structure that will include music, prayer, meditation, and communion, St. John’s wants this service to reflect those requesting a mid-week service. Therefore, the church is asking for your help to build and grow this service in a way that will be refreshing and spiritually uplifting for you. This service will start at 7:00 pm and should last no more than one hour.
