- how to adapt your checklist for your event
- how to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible
Bring the details for at least one event you want to plan including all your publicity ideas. Be ready to bring back even better ideas. We will go through the process for several types of events. Bring your laptop, tablet, or smartphone so you can develop your own event checklist and deadlines chart.
Before coming to the workshop, Jim asks that you complete a brief Event Survey to identify elements of event publicity planning that may be important to you. During the workshop, you'll work with others in small teams to plan event publicity for a typical event that may be on your calendar. After the workshop and with appropriate work, you will see a marked increase in interest, attendance, and participation for all your upcoming events.
The workshop begins at 7pm, but come at 6:30 to visit with some of the other attendees and enjoy some homemade banana pudding from Jim's kitchen - plus a few other delights - before we start.
Space is limited - Event Registration and Pre-Workshop Survey Completion Required - Get Tickets (Survey link will be sent to Registered Participants.)
