For many of us, we find the Holiday Season to be hard due to loss, grief, pain, loneliness, or just not feeling so Joyous. For those of us in the LGBTQQI community, it seems that these emotions are often times amplified by discrimination. Blue Christmas, held on the Winter Solstice (the longest night of the year), is a time for us to come together and honor those feelings.
Blue Christmas gives us a way to cope with those feelings, a safe space to share those feelings, and a community of people who remind us that we are not alone!
Come join us on Friday, December 21st, at 7pm. Refreshments and coffee will be available before and after the program.
