A Place for All People and All People With A Place
Do I have to be a member to participate in St. John’s ministries?
Not at all!! The vast majority of ministry areas at St. John’s MCC do not require membership in order to participate. In fact, many of the most active people in our community are regular attendees and friends of the church.
So why should I consider membership?
Being involved in the ministry and life of St. John’s has many blessing! Chief among them are a sense of:
- BELONGING - Feeling connected and a part of a community that values you and gives you a sense of spiritual self-worth and self-confidence (Romans 12: 4-8).
- BECOMING - Noticing a positive change in the way you look and live in the world because of your experience with Christ (1 Corinthians 13:11-12).
- CARING - Being aware of the concerns of others and reaching out. Realizing you’re a better person and receiving untold blessings in the process (1 Peter 3:8-9).
- COMMITTING - Finding that faithfulness makes commitment easier and that it brings a double reward of confidence and satisfaction in Christ (1 Corinthians 16:13).
- CELEBRATING - Discovering deep, permanent satisfaction and fulfillment in your life that is rooted in a personal and meaningful life with Jesus Christ (Psalm 32:11).
Membership is a simple process. Just attend one of the Membership/Inquirer’s Classes periodically offered. For details, speak with Pastor Belvaor call the Church Office.
