The Church Has Left the Building!

Join with your whole St. John’s family for Faith in Action month, beginning this Sunday, August 1st. During this month we will focus on biblical compassion, service and Christ’s heart for those in need through bible study, daily devotions and worship services. Then be a part of a landmark day in St. John’s history, when on August 29th we move our worship service to Moore Square (at 10:00 a.m.).

We will be serving through these and other projects, all designed to directly touch lives and reflect Christ’s love to others in the community:

  • Creation of hygiene kits
  • Adopt-A-Highway trash pick-up
  • Home Improvements/Landscaping in Raleigh and Durham
  • Lunchboxes of Love at Moore Square

There’s a great project for everyone, and we are shooting for 100% participation. Sign up now for Faith in Action service projects. Faith in Action Participation Kits, which will guide you through the small group discussion as well as daily FaithStep devotions, are available now. Bible study begins on August 8th. We are not just serving the community, but with the community. So please begin now to ask God which family members, friends or neighbors you should invite to come join our service projects on August 29th. Together, we can make a difference in our community.

Don’t just go to church – BE the church during Faith in Action month. For more information, contact Fred Cannady or Charles Leake.
