Good Friday Tenebrae Service

Tenebrae comes from Latin – meaning shadows or darkness. A Good Friday evening tradition at St. John’s MCC, members present passages of scripture about Jesus’ crucifixion. Near the close, you can hear worshipers nailing their confessions to a wooden cross.
