Change in Change 4 Change

In 2009, St. John’s MCC began collecting a special offering on the first Sunday of each month called Change 4 Change. Since that first offering, all of the money collected went towards the purchase of bus tickets for clients of the Alliance of AIDS Services-Carolina / Under One Roof. Because of your generosity, this year alone, St. John’s MCC has raised over a $1000 for bus tickets.
Because of your abundance in giving, the Board of Directors have decided to make a change in November and December. On November 6th , the Change 4 Change offering will go towards The Support Circle at St. John’s. The Support Circle works with a homeless person for one year to help that individual get back on their feet. The offering will help assist the ongoing expenses the ministry incurs.
On December 4th, the Change 4 Change offering will go to support Raleigh Rescue Mission’s Christmas food drive. In January, the Change 4 Change offering will once again be for bus tickets for the Alliance clients.
