Pastor Brendan's Tenth Anniversary Celebration

Special Guest: The Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson
St. John’s MCC would like to invite you to join us as we celebrate Pastor Boone’s Tenth Anniversary as Senior Pastor on November 11-13. Our Special Guest for the weekend will be The Rev. Elder Nancy Wilson, Moderator of MCC. Rev. Wilson has been involved with MCC since 1972 when she was the Associate Pastor of MCC Boston. Since then, she has worked in Detroit, Los Angeles, and Sarasota, FL.
She was the youngest person ever elected to the MCC Board of Elders in 1976. Rev. Wilson was elected Moderator of MCC in July 2005. St. John’s is deeply proud and honored to have Rev. Wilson with us for this celebration. Rev. Wilson will be our guest preacher at both services on Sunday.
On Saturday, her partner, Paula Schoenwether, will be leading a workshop on relationships which will be followed by a lunch with the moderator. She will also be speaking at the special service on Saturday night.

Pastor’s Anniversary Potluck
Join us after the 11:00 service on November 13th to fellowship and celebrate Pastor’s Anniversary. We need volunteers to bring their fabulous, delicious, delightful dishes to share with everyone. We also need volunteers to help with set up and clean up. We welcome and appreciate all of your help. Signup sheets will be available near the Sanctuary entrances after each service.
