Going back to the “Old Landmark” - A Journey through Song
Dear Friends:
I don’t know about you, but I am getting excited about this weekend’s Gospel Drag Show at St. John’s. We decided to take a break this year from crowning Mr. & Miss St. John’s, and just make it an evening of fun! The performers have selected some wonderful songs that they hope that you will enjoy and will resonate in your spirit.
I am excited to announce that in addition to performers from St. John’s, a couple of local performers have asked to appear as well as performers from our sister church in Lancaster, Pennsylvania! It’s sure to be an evening of fun and excitement. There are a couple of surprises planned for the evening, including the unveiling of this year’s MC.
The show will begin promptly at 7:00 pm at St. John’s. If this is your first Gospel Drag Show, you’re in for a treat. If you’ve attended other shows, this one is going to be unlike any other!
As in year’s past, your tips are gladly accepted. All tips raised will go to benefit the ministries of St. John’s MCC.
