Invite a Friend to the Annual Pride Sunday Dinner on the Grounds

Immediately after the 11:00 Celebration service on Pride Sunday, September 27th, St. John’s MCC hosts a pot luck 
Dinner on the Grounds. Scott Driver, one of the co-directors of the church’s Fellowship ministry, said “Each year, we welcome our guests to fill your stomachs and your souls with fellowship on Pride Sunday.”
David Ray, one of the Outreach ministry co-directors, said, “Members and friends of 
St. John’s are invited to bring a fabulous dish to share, and first-time guests are invited and need to bring only their appetites.” He explained, “We invite everyone to come to the 11:00 worship service on Sunday to meet the God we talked about at the Festival on Saturday. Then the lunch together builds the community of friends we discovered on Saturday.”
Always a highlight of the annual Pride Festival, lunch will be served at approximately 1:00 pm on Sunday, and you are invited.
We are asking each member, regular attendee, and friend of St. John’s MCC to prayerfully consider your individual level of participation in this drive and make your gift by the end of March 2012. Please click here for more information.
