Sunday, June 14, 2009 will dawn with jubilation at St. John’s MCC. We are launching a brand new Jubilation Service from 8:45 am – 9:45 am with a focus on worshiping God with a traditional format. This service will be no more than 59 minutes and 59 seconds long with a traditional liturgy and communion.

Following the Jubilation Service, Topics at Ten will kick off at 10:00 am. Topics is a sometimes controversial Bible Study open to all with a twist that leaves no question unasked or doubt unheard. This study is based on the reality of God’s love for ALL of us no matter who we are, what we have done or where we have been.

At 11:00 am, the former Joyful Morning Worship is being transformed into the Celebration Service. This service will be a blending of various musical styles including but not limited to gospel, traditional and contemporary. Music can truly set the tone for a service and help invite the Spirit into your heart. This service will include a time of healing and anointing as well as communion.

Wake up early, praise God with Jubilation, learn of God’s love with Topics at Ten, and then “get your praise on” in the Celebration Service. Please be welcome to join us for any and all of these worship opportunities.

Please note that beginning June 14, 7:00 pm service will be on hiatus for the summer. This will leave more time for fellowship opportunities, social justice projects and other exciting outreaches following the 11 am Celebration Service.
