On April 24th, immediately following the Easter Sunrise Service, the Fellowship Ministry is hosting Breakfast. This breakfast is free and open to ALL who come. Join us Sunday, April 24th, at 6:00 am for the Sunrise Service, and after God feeds your spirit early in the morning, then let St. John’s feed your stomach and hearts with good food and fellowship.

We need volunteers for set-up, cooking, and clean-up starting around 5:15 am. If you would like to make a financial contribution, please make your gift as “2011 Easter Sunrise Breakfast.” For more information and to volunteer, please contact Scott Driver or Tara Marten.

Spring is here and with spring comes spring-cleaning. Do you have STUFF that you do not have room for or want to keep? Do not throw it out. Just remember - your unwanted STUFF could be a treasure for someone else.

Because of the very likely chance of rain on the day we originally set (April 15th), we’re postponing the Yard Sale to May 7th. Same time. Same place. That means you have an additional 3 weeks to get your stuff to us!

Bring your items to the St. John’s MCC Spring Clean Yard Sale before May 6th. The Fellowship Team will get all of the items ready for the yard sale that occurs early at 7:00 am on Saturday, May 7, 2011.

We need of donations from you. We are accepting items that are in good condition, such as: furniture, books, CDs, shoes, DVDs, electronics, coats, clothing (men, women and children), accessories, toy, and small appliances (just to name a few). No undergarments please!

Please e-mail Scott Driver or Tara Marten to set up a time to drop off your items or bring them with you on Sunday to drop off before or after services. You can also call the church office at 919-837-2611 to arrange a drop off time. All donations are tax deductible.

We also need volunteers to join in the fun of setting up and assisting during the Yard Sale on Saturday, May 7, 2011. Please e-mail Scott Driver or Tara Marten to sign up. Each year we have lots of fun and you just never know when God might just show up, even at a Yard Sale.

100% of all proceeds from the Yard Sale go toward St. John’s MCC in supporting ministry. Thanks for your help!

The Fellowship Ministry is looking for some hosts and hostesses each Sunday after the 11:00 am Service. The Hospitality time after the 11:00 am service is a perfect opportunity for our members, regular attendees, and guests to gather and fellowship with one another. In order to do this, we need your help. Each Sunday beginning May 1, hospitality will occur each Sunday. In order for this to happen, we want people to participate by signing up for any Hospitality Sunday. Please come to the next Fellowship Team Meeting on April 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm to be plugged in.
