1	Gay Christian Network The Gay Christian Network is a nonprofit ministry serving Christians who happen to be lesbian, gay, bisexual, or transgender.	261
2	Created Gay Podcast An inclusive Christian message of love and acceptance for the LGBT community. The Gospel is for everyone including GLBT people; gays, lesbians, bisexual and transgender. Although Bishop Buchanan was trained in some very conservative graduate programs he has found that Scripture is supportive and accepting of all people, including those who are attracted to someone of the same gender. He has served a variety of churches including evangelical, Lutheran, Anglican, and is a part of the independent catholic movement. 5	NC Pride The Pride Committee of North Carolina's mission statement reflects the fact that despite many social, political and economic gains that have been made by individuals and institutions in various LGBT communities throughout North Carolina, much work still needs to be done. At the same time, however, we understand the need to celebrate our victories and accomplishments.	164
6	Drag Bingo Drag Bingo generates income benefiting the Alliance of AIDS Services - Carolina through admission ticket sales, bingo cards and food sales. Drag Bingo also solicits funds through sponsorships â€“ making it possible for one hundred percent of monies raised at the event to go straight to the Alliance. Games typically sell out in one week. All prizes won at DRAG BINGO are donated by generous businesses in the community. The Drag/Gay Bingo craze began in Seattle, and additional games are springing up in Boston, Washington, DC, Atlanta and Pittsburgh. Proceeds fund direct care services for people living with AIDS or HIV, education for people at risk and prevention programs.	227
7	LGBT Center of Raleigh / Triangle Community Works We are excited to announce that The LGBT Center of Raleigh Board of Trustees and the Triangle Community Works Board of Directors have both approved a proposal to merge our two organizations. We believe as one larger organization we will be able to more effectively serve the needs of the community. Keep an eye out for more information on how this merger will impact programs and services offered in the community.	218
