Reflection:
- This is Jesus’ final commission to his followers before his ascension into heaven – and it’s a commission that still applies to us today. Just as the disciples were called to preach Christ’s suffering, death, and resurrection that brings forgiveness of sins, so we too have the privilege of sharing this truth with others. Name three people with whom you would like the opportunity to share God’s love.
- When the apostles were sent out, they faced the unknown. How can focusing on the power of the Holy Spirit help you to step out in caring for others, even when we are facing new or unusual situations – the “unknown?”
