Did you know that … There are more female images of God in the Bible than male?

There are more female images of God in the Bible than male!
It is true that there are more male pronouns referring to God in the Bible, but there are more verses in scripture that describe God as the mother hen, the mother bear, the mother wolf … that God is giving birth and that God is like a woman baking bread.
The famous name for God that is often translated as “God Almighty,” El Shaddai, is from a Hebrew word that describes a mother suckling her young at her breast.
