The Service Ministry is pleased to announce its upcoming activities for the Summer months. We hope that you will be able to join us for all of these events as we prepare to put our “faith in action.” Please meet in the sanctuary at 2:00 p.m. on the date of the event to assist with preparations.

Sunday, June 21st: Lunchboxes of Love – We will be providing a meal and offering a time of fellowship to those living in and around Moore Square. In the event of rain, we will prepare a meal to serve at the Men’s Shelter.

Sunday, July 26th: School Tools Drive for Haven House – With budget cuts, many non-profit organizations have had to cut back. One way that we as a community can assist is by filling in the gap. One way that we can do this is by providing some of the basic necessities that will be needed by individuals returning to school. Haven House is an organization that accepts runaway youth ages 10-17. In the weeks leading up to July 26th, we will be sponsoring a “school tools drive” to collect school supplies to be distributed on July 26th at the Haven House.

Sunday, August 9th: Senior Service Day – On August 9th, we will be visiting Glenwood Towers for a time of fellowship and to provide small items to the residents.

Sunday, August 30th: Lunchboxes of Love – We will be providing a meal and offering a time of fellowship to those living in and around Moore Square. In the event of rain, we will prepare a meal to serve at the Salvation Army.
